The major components of the developed machine are fruit holder, peeler cum corer cum cutting mechanism, power transmission unit and frame assembly. Jackfruit was placed in the fruit holder and was subjected to rotation. As jackfruit rotates, the peeling was done helically due to the linear motion of the peeling blade which move from bottom to top. The clearance between the blade and peeler arm was fixed on the basis of thickness of the rind. Similarly cutting and coring operations was performed using cutting/coring blade. The cutting cum core removing tool which is attached to the screw shaft was pressed against the fruit resulting in core removal cum peeling operation.
